Looking for a "small" diesel switcher

What about the Marx 588 or 1998 or similar?

Most of the small K-lines are big IMHO. I have a bunch of their S2's and MP-15's and they are big.
The Plymouth's are very nice and are probably better scale sized. They have cast bodies and frames and are able to pull 6-8 average freight cars.

The K-Line Plymouth switcher is certainly small enough not to dwarf anything you run!

If you are looking for a smaller than O scale switcher to go with your cars, I personally think the K-Line dual motored S-2 diesel switcher would fit nicely.  It is an O gauge model of a full size switcher but near S scale size.

Here is a photo of my K-Line K-2313 Santa Fe version.  It was way too small for me, so I sold it.
