Looking for SW8/9/1200 windows

Mike, the beacon is home made.  It is a 5mm white LED that I cut down, reshaped and polished. The metal base is a wrap of aluminum ducting tape.  I use that stuff for all kinds of things! 

I have seen Aaron's beacons, and they very cool.  I have all of the materials to make a similar beacon, but haven't braved it yet!

I use finger nail files to shape and polish plastic.  I get them from Sally's Beauty Supply.

Looks like it’s neatly done on the inside. Are you using a 1 amp decoder then?

Greg, I’m using the 5L-DCC decoder, rated at 3 amps.

Finally got this one done! Bob Sobol programmed the Loksound V5L decoder, and it sounds awesome, and he matched the sound to the momentum so it really comes across as a working locomotive. Thanks Bob!

I guess I should have posted this a couple years ago! All of the decoder programming for momentum and delay is the work of Bob Sobol and the layout is David Stewart's Appalachian & Ohio.  Good friends make for good models!

While on the subject of flush-fitting window inserts for the Atlas SW's, may I suggest that similar windows for the General Models, All-Nation, EMD NW2 might be of some interest to 2R O-Scalers as well.
