I know this is probably a shot in the dark.. Does anyone have an extra copy of this book they would be willing to part with??

I spoke to the author, chances for a second run are good...keep checking the Madison site......
Hi Erie,
Best of luck on your search for a copy. I can't even find copies of my own book at the moment.
We are seriously investigating a second printing in 2017. As of the this week, we are about 25% of the way to the numbers we need for a second printing. There is a waiting list that you can add your name to by following the link at the bottom of this post.
Thanks for the inquiry,
Derek
Would a Electronic edition be an option? Would it be easier/cheaper and less risk than a second printing.

Hi Mike, we've already talked about it. It really wouldn't be difficult to do, depending on the format, it's more the idea that this crowd seems to be much more open to purchasing a physical book than a digital version. Not saying it wont happen, but also figuring out the right format is the key. By far the easiest would be to format it for an Ipad and let it rip, maybe I will revisit this idea over the coming weeks.
Derek,
I think you are correct on the target demographic wanting a physical book vs. digital. I'm 48, and only know of Madison Hardware from hearing about it on this forum. But I'm still interested in learning more about the history and personal experiences of this iconic store. Being a techie, I prefer having my media in the cloud. Ready for me to access using my phone, chromebook, iPad or Kindle.
