Hi everyone, since the pandemic started I have managed to amass quite a fleet of MEC and B&M engines and rolling stock. I was a Lionel postwar operator ,and my taste has changed to wanting to operate model MEC, since I live in Maine. I have slowly sold most of my postwar items and purchased newer technology.

Nice! My next layout will have a similar theme.
Have you checked out the series of cars put out by the Maine 3 Railers club? A different Maine based business every year...
Waiting on a string of new RMT WOOD CHIP Cars in MEC and B&M!

Hiker,
Thank you, great video. I am still new to so many aspects of the hobby. I love the sound effects of the passing freight; please explain what you are using. thank you, kevin
Fast Mail the sound is two Lionel legacy gp7's and a state of Maine and Boston &Maine PS3 boxcars. The boxcars have freight car sounds.
Well done!
Peter

Enjoyed that video!
Nice video. Nice layout. I especially like your backdrop.
Very nice indeed: the MEC diesel paint schemes were ( still are, I think) among the nicest of any.
Having lived Downeast for a couple of years, I naturally have to have a few examples (both 2 rail):
