Hello all,
I have a whole bunch of Lionel post-war O GUAGE remote control sections and would like to use their magnets on gargraves track. I see articles on using Old 27 post-war track remote control sections but not o0 guage . Can my O GUAGE ections be converted to use on gargraves track? If so please advise how to do. I have the Lionel controllers but wonder if there's any other controller that I can use?

Jerry, the reason that the 027 version is preferred is the rail height. The 027 rail is just right where as the O gauge is a little too tall. I suppose you could use them, but the ties would have to be carved away to make up for that. You can use the Lionel controllers, or you can use any momentary SPST switch.
The for the reply. I figured the rail height is more but I was just wondering if you could take the o guage apart as easy as the 027.

I thought you could just take the magnet out and not use the rails ? There was a thread about this, I think it was a GRJ posting ? Below is the title, I don't know how to post the link.
Yea, I'm trying to find out how to remove the magnet add it to the gargraves track, wire it to uncouple and unload and find out if I should use the Lionel controller or something else?
