I'm painting some former Rutland coke racks for the Union RR. I want to improve the MTH loads. What do yinz recommend? Thanks for any and all suggestions. Tom in PGH

Check with "The Cat in the Hat", Scott Smith. I think he used some activated charcoal that should represent coke pretty well.

If you are looking for large pieces, use fish tank filter charcoal. It is black, lightweight, glues easy, and can be removed if necessary.
