Your Surprise gift arrived today and I love it!
Thanks so much for the Custom made Lift Bridge Frame work, simply a great piece of walk thru Bridge Frame Work Engineering, that should work perfectly at the Train Room door! Now I must redesign the lower layout with the addition of Mike's walk thru Bridge work.

I thought you should have it before you get tofar along! It is easier to put it in as you go, then it is to retrofit it! If you have any questions let me know. 
One piece of advice is to mount the track before you install it, that way you can do it on your bench and not the layout!

I will take your advise and will also need some education on how to set up the electric plates and all, for making this work smoothly! I have never even tried to design a lift Bridge before.

That lift bridge had to make a long trip from WA to PA!
Long and cold, sat in Pa. for 2 days before it went out for delivery! Darn SNOW!
I need some help designing a lift bridge. For two tracks. And the curve gets into the area the lift needs two be. Still working on the track to see if I can get it into a better position. Most gates I have seen are Mianne lifts or have a hinge that is higher than the table top so it will clear the track? I like the lift type but they are unreal in price!

Jim, that one I built for Pine Creek and Brian is the base I use for my Atlas double track bridge! do you have a bridge or do you just want to lay track on the top?
