I've had a technician upgrade several engines from PS 1.0 to PS 2.0. Is there any use or secondary market for the PS 1.0 electronics removed from the engines? If so, what is it?

yes they sell on Ebay.
Oh yeah there is...one can give sounds to an older silent conventional engine....still no control like the ps2 and ps3 give, but some don't care about that.
So long as the ps1 boards were fine when removed, all you have to do is list what they came out of and that they worked before removal.
...so, what have you got?
I've bought a few off of this forum, and wouldn't mind getting at least 2 more sets to fix a couple of locomotives I have. Post them in the for sale forum, and I'm sure you'll find them a good new home (Maybe even mine.).

Is now.
I as well have some PS-1 boards.
I'd trade someone a couple of steamer sets for a couple of diesel sets. I have a couple of stripped diesels that I'd like to donate to a local club at a retirement home. They run conventional and love the sound of PS/1, but all I have are some steamer boards. It would be cheap shipping to just swap the chips.
Mine are being sent out west in the morning

John, I would love to donate to your cause, but unfortunately all I have are steam chips :/
I think a lot of steamers get converted, and I guess not as many diesels. I may yet have to buy a couple, or wait until I convert some diesels.
I'm trying to resurrect my diesels, so I need to keep my chips, sorry.
Cleartracks, please email me, or better yet, post in the sales forum. I think I need just bottom boards for my diesels if anyone has extras, but I'll take the pair too.
Cleartrack01, you don't have an email shown, so if your interested...or anyone else, in selling the ps1 steam or diesel boards{I need the whole set up}, please email me- I'm interested in them.
