My sister from Lititz PA sent me this article which I thought everyone would like to see. Bill Parkinson does a similar event at the Grange in Upper Darby.

Great way to share the fun of trains with the public.

Very nice article.
Very nice piece and their efforts.
Cool John, our club should do something like that.
This might be something to check out if the wife and I pay a visit to the Lancaster area.

I like the idea of having certain times if it's going to be setup for an extended period. If you have it a couple hours a day for a few days in the week, it wouldn't be that onerous to have it manned for the operation.
Terrific post. Benefit for the physical community and the "model train" community. If we can pull it off in Lansdale, you can count me in to help in any way I can.

Thanks for posting, John.
Great stuff!

Thinking about what GJ said above makes a lot of sense and the space Bill Henning had his terrific tree display in was huge. Perhaps we should cover this in our next business meeting. There are several organizations that this type of marriage could really help. One that comes to mind is Manna on Main Street in Lansdale and another organization in Souderton that performs a similar service. I also like the idea of a special run car we could sell to raise money.
Let's getter done!
