Any news about Marty and MA & PA Junction?
Earlier this year he cancelled my pre order and refunded my deposit on some items from WbB.
Just wondering how he is? What is happening?
I spoke with Marty about an hour ago. He is in good spirits and health. He is no longer selling trains. He went through quite a bit in the last few years but luckily the worst may be behind him now.
That's too bad. We've lost too many good dealers in recent years. While I've curtailed my buying the last few years all of my Williams business went to him. Having run my own business, I know it can drain you. I wish Marty well and hope he finds health and relaxation in enjoying trains rather than selling them.
If Marty bailed from the train business, one would think that he would post some sort of notice and/or "farewell" message here on the forum. It was strange not seeing him in his normal spot last fall @ York. Wish him the best of health and lots relaxation!
I got an e-mail from him this week. He may be getting out of the business. Is not getting new WBB product. We need to see what happens.
