Hi all,

I don't know if this is the right place for this but here goes. I went to the Westchester County Train Show today

and walking the isles in the mist of all the Lionel Trains I saw to which I found out was a Marx 333, it looked really

nice and on Tom's Trains Track set up it ran really good and to my surprise started to smoke so I grab it. When I

got it home I took it apart and found some of the wires worn and exposed in some areas, on one area I could not

get to was the wire that lead from inside and went to the brush plate, I tried to heat the wire but it did not come

off, is there a trick to getting it off  or do I have to cut it and solder it back in place, any help would be great.

Thanks

Tin
