If it has battery it is a Protosounds engine not DCRU which is just an electronic reverse unit with no sounds.   You must use AC power that is like or close to pure AC (Old Lionel Post War transformer).  Initial voltage needs to be less than 10 VAC to come out of reset.  Must have a good battery so the engine can play shutdown sounds when the power is turned off.  So if you have a good battery, make sure battery harness is good too.

If good transformer and battery but still not coming out of reset may be a programming issue requiring tech chip.  G

i ll purchase an ac transformer , no other way i think !

everythings are ok , ps1 need really ac , whith 5 amperes at least  , then i put an ac transformer 20 v 160va , its drive correctly and go out of reset in the true process ,thanks for help
