Why not just download it direct from the product page? https://mthtrains.com/30-4052-1
I loaded that file, but it's still working the same way. The eng. comes up as RK F3,not mcdonals 414 & the sound level is low.
thanks MONK
Monk,
The eng. comes up as RK F3, not mcdonals 414
Factory Reset and then re-add the engine to each DCS Remote. That should show the right name.
& the sound level is low.
That's possibly because the engine, which is a 5 volt PS2, needs to have its speaker replaced. Symptoms are low sound levels and some static when playing sound clips that involve talking.

He has a different board and the Serial data was not loaded most likely. G
George,

Barry has a point about the low volume, I'd look into that in any case.
It keeps coming back as RK F3.
Monk,
Did you Factory Reset the engine and then re-add it to the DCS Remote?
Yes I did.
thank you
Monk,
In that case, you have 2 options to get the engine's name the way that you want it to be:
Menu/System/Engine Setup/Edit EngineEdit Engine Name and enter a new name for the engine.
This name would stick with the engine until it is Factory Reset.
This can also be accomplished using the DCS Application's Engine Settings Screen.

Thank you Barry. Now the name is right, but I need to order a new speaker the frame on mine is bent.
thank you again MONK
Berry I bought a new speaker from Amazon, it works fine. Do you think the sound file got screwed up do to the dead battery?
thank you MONK
Moke,
Who's Berry?
Quit monkeying around! Sorry Barry. Could it have been the dead battery that screwed up the sound file? I didn't think that was a problem with PS -2 .
thank you MONK
Monk,
Could it have been the dead battery that screwed up the sound file?
I wouldn't think so.
