Yesterday I got to Menards and I bought one so I could have the window sign in the bar and grill work. My question is with two more hookups built into this unit what can I add. Would Miller engineering signs work. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks Paul

Online Menard's used to sell some billboards that require 4.5 vDC to operate. The 3-way 4.5 VDC transformer works on those.
They no longer show them on the website but similar billboards (from Lemax) are available from other vendors and sometimes from Michaels craft store.
One billboard similar to the Menards version is here.
All you have to do to change the signage is print your own graphics on some self-stick label paper and apply over the existing signage.

Thanks for the feedback. I went to Miller engineering website and it looks like they use the same voltage. So maybe I can hook up two signs in the general area of the bar and grill on other roof tops. ....Paul
Let us know if it works.
That 4.5V adaptor is unregulated. Without a load the output is 9.5 VDC.
If you use it on Miller signs you will burn out the control board of the
sign.
There are 5V cell phone chargers at Walmart for 5-6 dollars that are
regulated and will work on Miller signs but they require a USB connector.
Pa, if I have the bar and grill turned on that means the voltage is regulated, right. So then could miller signs be used on the other two connectors..........Paul
There are 5V cell phone chargers at Walmart for 5-6 dollars that are

Or a pair of wire clippers to chop the USB plug off.
The 4.5 V supply is not regulated so it will work with buildings
that only have lights. If you have enough of a load the voltage
will drop to 4.5V. With only 1 building, with lights, the output
voltage will still be about 9V which is too high for Miller signs.
If you connect 5-6 Miller signs the load is enough for the voltage
to drop to about 6v which is OK for Miller signs.
The 3 output plogs are all in parallel so the voltage at each
plug will be the same.
I never pluged that supply into a building with a Miller sign.
It is difficult to see inside the building to see if there is a
regulator. Maybe someone has used that supply but I will
not take the chance.
The 'non-regulated' aspect of the Menards power supply caused me to hesitate, especially reading member 'Walt's' issues with knock-off chargers and Miller signs...that and the fact the price was $7.99 in Sept, then went up to $12.99, and is now back down to $9.99 I would like to use a regulated supply with a couple leads for the Tavern as well as for a couple Miller signs mounted on an Ameritowne street front.
I found this inexpensive regulated 4.5v adapter on the bay...
Adaptor for WALKMAN,PANASONIC,SONY CD player, AC DC 4.5V 500mA 4.5vdc REGULATED
I'm not sure if the large jack is the right size (4mm) because I think 5mm is more common, but a plug size adapter or splicing as John mentioned would cure this.
