Been reading a wonderful magazine by Classic Trains detailing those wonderful displays built by Lionel for showrooms and dealers.

Not sure of all the logistics and liabilities etc, but wonder why Menards doesn't somehow find local group or individual(s) willing to build simple dealer displays to run the Lionel sets offered by Menards.  Of course there would be who runs it what days or hours (since you don't want to tie up a clerk running trains.)  Volunteers could be "paid" with a rebate coupon of some value.  After Christmas, the pieces could be sold off at cost or whole display auctioned off.

Just a thought.
