Menards gondolas and police station, plus pictures

Recieved my order from Menards today of the police station and three different gondolas.

First the police station, very well put together and it looks great, packed very well and no problems out of the box. I did test the station and all lights and helicopter work well. 

The gondolas look very good and they are 40' long, the width is 1/16th inch short of scale but as somebody said before what is 1/16" amongst friends. The paint schemes are nicely applied and they look good. Yes I know that two of them are fantasy but are very nice. Menards has also changed the uncoupler to tabs instead of the plate on the bottom of the trucks, a welcome improvement IMO.

Those cats are so fat they'd only move 6 inches....lol

I look forward to seeing it in person on Saturday....1PP...not the cats getting shocked.

Mike, I was keeping an eye her just in case she tried to run away with the cord and turn my police station into a pile of sticks on the floor. 

Btw I was actually having the most fun.

Hey Greg the cats are now on a vet approved diet and they seem to like it. They are more active now but it will take some time to get them it shape.
