I got in what I would say rare but probably not worth much. I got the CN bulkhead flatcar but it has no markings at all. Otherwise it appears to be fine. Well maybe not a CN now that I look closer to it as the CN ones seem to be Black in color and this one is like a dark forest Green. Will take pics and show the two difference later, in a rush right now

I wonder if it could of been a sample model as it didn't come in the clam shell

Yes, some Mystery Boxes do have factory samples, I have received several that way.. Bob

I like getting the Mystery box as it shows me the size etc of things I'm thinking about buying so I would be more interested say a 4 pack of boxcars vs one because I didn't know the actual size, because I don't have a Menards anywhere near me.

I too have gotten several items in Mystery Boxes that appear to be early production samples given the associated packaging, as well as SKU#s that have yet to be used.
