This new die cast crane has 4 operating front tires for steering, 4 out riggers that help for stability and a very detailed cab and body, As you can see, it stretches way out there, almost to the point it could tip over. It's very well made and for the money, I think its well worth it.

Nice looking layout Cabinet Bob. Where are all the freight cars and trees or is this the next Menards layout you are starting........Paul
Thanks for the photos Bob- I've always appreciated your candid reviews.
IMHO, the Menards structures are fantastic value, and generally fit into a 1960's era pretty easily. I would be quite excited if they started knocking out some more "vintage" looking vehicles. The Mack military flatbed & the bus was a nice start- but I need a large amount of 1950's era-ish vehicles, but I need them at the Menards price range.
You don't want me to visit Bob! After seeing your two layouts I would never leave! you know what they say about guests and fish? They both stink after three days! LOL
You just made the Millwright's cringe

So.. Your saying the crane is just a LITTLE to high ???
Bob, nice looking crane. Does it come with pads for under the outriggers . I had just ordered mine. If not should be easy to make some. Thanks for sharing photos . Nick T

Nick: No pads are included with the crane.. Bob
Just got mine yesterday, had to revisit this thread before I threaded the 'hook'.
You could pretty much hammer a nail with this crane, and the outriggers aren't just for show !
Great Photos, Cabinet Bob !
come on Bob, great pictures, but you know I am on a spending freeze, and you sure are making it hard to stay faithful to the CFO!
