My question ( first I think it's a great item ) there appears to be a room behind the garage from the back but no entrance. So are you suppose to go up stairs thru the house to get back down stairs? Or open the big garage door just to get to it ( the train room? )

Those are sliding glass doors to get in from the back. Bob
Terrific detail, another home run from Menards Trains.

Looks great Bob. If I buy one I think I'll knock the shine off the terracotta roof with some dull coat.
AMAZING!!!
That is a great looking structure........to modern for me but so glad Menard's decided to go into model trains!!
Great pictures! Thanks for taking the time Dad for doing this for us! Menards sure has stepped up there game! I wonder if the rest of the train co. are watching! LOL
Ditto to AMCDave. Not steam era or rural, so l can't use but really like their earlier structures l have. Unlike some model railroad structures of different scales, their structure efforts don't look to be European nor Asian in design. I saw this and others l had not seen in a Menards recently.

Maybe Menard's will tackle a smaller two story farm type house. Wrap around porch, out house and a chicken coop......I'd feel like I was back in rural WV 1960's or earlier. Just an idea Mark & Co.
It would be great to make them in a few different color schemes so folks can get an entire neighborhood.

Right in the middle of the most rural county east of the Mississippi river!!! I'm in the triangle made from Snowshoe, Cass and White Sulfer Springs.

Excellent, and a bargain at that price. But sorry to say, not my Era.
I love Menards product line. They look great on my layout, as well as the club layout. They have beautiful detail and are easy to fit into even the most complex vignette. In fact, I'm seriously thinking about selling off most of my Snow Village ceramic items in order to make room for more.
Kudos for doing something new and different. I wish I had more room on the layout.
