You take the best photos, Dad ! Gonna need a loan against future allowance.
They all look good... just not a fan of the plastic trucks on the gondolas and flatcars.
Such a shame they don't ship to the UK. James
Bob any new structures?
The flats with the Pepsi & REA trucks look like a no brainer for the CFO to approve the acquisition.

Maybe one of the regular Menard's customers (I'm not one) Forumites will be your International Railroad Equipment Forwarding Agent.
Somebody on Ebay will be reselling theses soon, I bet.
Maybe Menard can retool the UFO cow catcher for a diner like the sold out Lionel route 66 UFO diner.
Thanks CabBob....excellent pics!
Another view. Rember, this will be released this fall

Bob, thanks for the photographs and video! I like the Nose Art cars and Gondolas. Really like the Pepsi truck and the REA panel truck and flat car, too! The UFO is cool, looks like a fun accessory. My wife and I are planning to attend next year. Have a good time and post more photos, please!

That UFO is #1 on my Christmas list. Hope Menards makes a lot of them, they will be a big hit.
Is the auto carrier bare black plastic or painted black?
If I bought some of the auto carriers, I would need to paint them in other colors like GTW brown, NYC Green, Santa Fe Red.

Did I miss something? Where is the auto carrier?
The Auto Carrier was there in the MENARDS display at the Expo, but not in these photos.

The Auto Carrier is the one that came out about a year ago. It's painted black and was just on display on the layout.
How does the gondoas scale put??? I'd get some PRR 8nits if not super narrow like many traditional. thx
Day two starting in 3.5 hours. Yesterday's show was huge. The line to get in was over a block long! If your at the show, remember, the 11% rebate is still on for today. For everyone else, the 11% starts Monday, and the new products will be on-line Tuesday. All the new products ran continuously for 8.5 hours with NO problems whatsoever. I'll be posting a few more pictures today when time allows. Thanks for looking... Bob
What scale is the Pepsi truck? I was disappointed when the buses on the flatcars turned out to be too small, closer to1:64.
What was in the white box?
Dang! They are late one year with the non-Ford 1941-46? (Chevy) REA truck, or l would pounce on it. Sure would like to see some 30's-1940 Chevy pickups and sedans. Hallmark, no less, did produce a '36 GMC pickup, as a tree ornament, but you can fix that

I will try to get a measurement for you this morning. If you can, please zoom in on the truck and see the fine detail of the Pepsi bottles.
Who has seen a real UFO ? Let's keep o-gauge realistic.
Not interested.

With some really impressive early structures, even though one 2018 mfr.'s catalog, looked to me to be 50% fantasy stuff, l will avoid. Somebody must buy it. (Nope, haven't seen a UFO, but MIGHT have seen Bigfoot run across a snowy Oregon highway when driving south from Crater Lake in dark winter evening years ago)

53% believe that aliens have visited the earth. If so, I'm in.
This will be Menards biggest seller IMO.
Sometimes you just have to have a little fun.

What is that large, two-tone grey building on the layout in the background with the train running thru it ? Close up picture please.
For those who could not make the show it was a great show. Lots of train layouts, venders and of course the Menards display. The gondolas are nice, along with the nose art box cars, flat cars with new loads plus the UFO. Looking down the road through my cyrstal ball (which is slightly cracked) 2019 looks to be a very interesting year starting with the release of the parking garage. The prototype was on display. Congrats to Mark, his crew and of course Cabinet Bob. You all did an outstanding job.....Paul
Parking garage mostly wooden pre-production sample
