Bob,
Great photographs. Would you please put the REA truck and the tan Lionel Train House truck on one Menards' flat car and share the picture?
Thank you, John in Lansing, ILL
I like Mernard's offerings but the difference in font and color of the individual roads numbers is beginning to bother me. I think a solution for this might be for the there to be a field of black under the number. This would suggest that the car was re-numbered at some point and would be justification for the difference in color and font. Just my two sense.
Does the license plate on the truck say at the bottom "NY 46"?
IMO this is probably the best protypical box car that Menards has offered.

Nice Bob, I ordered the three piece set also, always a REA fan.

Btw
The Morton salt box cars are incredible, nice scheme, diecast trucks and couplers and the cars have some weight to it. Overall a home run for us and Menards.
Great looking Box Car and flat car! The panel van is a shot from the past, great looking to anyone!
I just ordered one REA box car and three trucks. Just under the wire for the 11% off..........Paul
Thanks for posting I’m a big REA fan
Out of the 130 or so pieces of rolling stock I have, I don't have a single REA box car so I'm ordering the 4 piece dealer pack plus 2 of the van flats. Again, nice job Menards.
Excellent job, Menards!! I’ve been on a tight budget lately, but I think I need to make an online purchase!
Thank you for the photographs, Bob!
