Nice video dad. Urban expansion has taken on a new meaning with you. Got to be a flurry of eminent domain proceedings going on as we speak LOL. Comparing the two tank cars in the picture looks like the single dome is a tad longer. Well done and well done Menards.......................Paul

Paul, thanks !!! The tank cars are the same length..Bob

Hi CB, I'm kinda staying with 8K to 10K gal tanker single cars.  I like the Lionel cars. My question to you please. How does the M tankers compare with the L tankers.  Basically length wise?  CB, I'm in an era and trying to stay there. Thanks.

My best regards

Tommy

If you look at my video, there are 2 Lionel tankers in front of the Menards tankers. Rivet to rivet there is no difference minus the trucks. The frame is a little different with a smaller brake wheel bracket. Hope this helps. About 20.00 each cheaper which helps us out a lot.

Interestingly, the Lionel "traditional" single dome tank cars are actually scale-sized 8,000 gallon tank cars.

Ummmm ……. on the PRR tank car, the word "thoroughbread" is spelled incorrectly in a few places. I don't think we're talking about bread making - more like the breeding of horses. It should be "thoroughbred".

Maybe Menard's needs an editer.

Maybe it was done on purpose....

Ha ha ha.  I just went to TESS and searched on a trademark.  Your spelling isn't trademarked but another/similar but slightly different spelling is.  I'm actually working on designing a project right now where similar liberties are going to have to be taken to avoid infringing on a trademark.
