I bought a set of coal cars a few months back from Menards, two of which had coupler problems. Menards made it right and I fixed the couplers without having to glue them closed. I needed a few cars as part of a gift to a grand kid and ordered four cars: The tank flat car, the army ammo car, a box car and a tank car. They came yesterday.
Not only were the couplers OK, so were the metal wheels (plastic ones apparently use to be the norm??). Each car is impressive for the price point! They are very well done with lots of details. I'm impressed. I can see why so many here recommend them to populate running trains. Good Job, Menards!!!!
