I picked up a few new "toys" yesterday from Dave at Mercer Junction, Dave your store gets better every time I stop by. Glad to see you are able to carry alot of trains & supplies. Every time I am there I see something new on the shelves. As always it was good to see you. This is a first class train store & owner, well worth the trip!!

It is a fine store, isn't it, jjames9641?  I was planning to head over there again this weekend, but am delaying the trip until next Friday or Saturday because I have several items to deliver to Dave and he will, by then, have several items for me to pick up, including an O tinplate set, a Lionel Legacy RS-11, and the Lionel Legacy system.

A visit there always makes for a nice "day trip" for me, and Dave steered me to a nice place to eat down the road a few miles so I can return home with a full trunk and a full tummy.

Allan,

It is indeed a fine store, I have been in alot of train stores in my time and Dave's to me is one the nicest. I think one could say a "Hi Class" train store, and of course the location on the square in downtown Mercer is the icing on the cake. Like you have said in the past Allan, it is great to see a dealer so excited at what he does!!

MrMuffin's Trains, I do have pictures of the store but I think I should check with Dave first before posting them. If he has no problem with it I certainly will post some. I would be glad to show off my friends store!!

Thanks, Jeff

It was, indeed, the Iron Bridge Inn that I dined at the last time, and a fine lunch with another forum member, Ernie, who drove all the way to Mercer Junction from North Canton.

This next trip I'll give Rachel's a try.

And for those who take their wives there is a Quilt Shop just across the street and there is Volant a quaint little town with lots of shopping along the main Street in houses converted to shops and several freight cars and a Caboose ( cabin for the Pennsy guys )converted to shops on a section of track,

And also near by is Grove City outlet's a mega shopping world , so you can find a lot to do in the rolling Pa hills with lots of Amish presence .
