i wanted to polish up this Marx searchlight a bit for a photo shoot and knowing that Marx tabs are fairly rugged if handled gently enough, i decided to pull the "mirror" for a good cleaning rather than trap any moisture within the shell. but before i sealed it up again, i looked at all that empty space...

The title made me think of the Police song - emptiness, loneliness and the realization that you are not the only one- "a hundred million"
