Welcome once again to the Midweek Photo thread.  After Steamtown's Dec 2 Holiday trip to Gouldsboro, I had the chance to photograph the switching moves in Tobyhanna, PA.

Here we stand at the West End of the Tobyhanna runaround.  The siding was occupied by a lot of freight cars, so only a portion of the track could be used.

In preparation for the relocation of the engine to the West end of the train, we moved the drumhead to the East end.

and the marker lamps.

Diesel 514 followed our train to assist in the move.  Then it was back to Scranton. Radio communication trouble caused some delays in the return.  Thus ends the 2012 season for Steamtown.

Next week is the Year End Review.  Check your photo catalogs to post some of your best images of railroading as we find it today.  Enjoy your Christmas!

I made a slide show video of some pictures of the Durbin Rocket from back in October this year when my wife and I were there.  I dubbed over sound recordings from my cell phone.  I thought it sounded neat.  Hopefully you will enjoy it.  Sorry about the Olympus Digital Camera on the slides (I'm still learning how to do this stuff).
