One more time! Coming around the bend in the week once more is Midweek Photos! Get your photo files ready to add to this journey through the real world of railroading. This past weekend found me in the Allentown, PA area for the train show, so my friend and I decided to check out the nearby Allentown and Auburn RR in Kutztown, PA. The locomotives were not at the station, but the train of cabooses was.
The above two views are opposite sides of Jersey Central RR caboose no. 91507. I imagine the entire car will be painted in the A&A red eventually.
This Baltimore & Ohio wagon top bay window caboose is also part of the train.
And this less interesting bay window caboose built for Conrail. It may look nice inside, I don't know, but a squared-off bay window is not very elegant on the outside.
Here is their coach, at the train station. Central RR of New Jersey no. 1161, painted in a Reading-like two tone green. The seats are a velvet upholstery inside.
That is my contribution for this week. Take a look through your photos and see what you want to add. Have a great time. Talk to you next week.
