I sent mike my mth gas station to repair it did not work correctly he repaired it the same day he received it and sent it back in a timely manor it works like new I would recommend him to anyone that need repair

Thanks for the testimonial about the MTH Gas Station repair by Mike Reagan. I hope he will accept another MTH item for repair -- my misbehavng MTH Car Wash. I disassembled the accessory and hoped to find an obvious problem that I could fix; i.e., a loose wire. When I hand-closed all the microswitches that trigger sound effects, lights, and the two "polishers" near the end of the line, they worked OK. But the car will not move forward along its oval path when the START button is pressed. d The DC can motor that is supposed to turn the gears of the chain drive mechanism doesn't spin. I suspect a faulty motor or circuit board - way beyond my skill level.
Please provide a current e-mail address for Mike. I lost track of him after he left Lionel.

This can be motor, but there can also be binding in the gears. Some early stuff had the plastic gears swell up and bind. Test motor with out gearing. Test large gears with out motor. Gears can be shaved to spin freely, parts are available for these repairs. G
