I was wondering if any did a mod to the Mini DVR 808 #16 V3 Lens D 120 degree Car Key Micro Camera HD 720P Camcorder and used track power to run it? I have a flat car that will be the DVR platform cat. My question is can I use a Buck to Bucks step down converter and what is voltage setting need to run the DVR car?

I run other cameras from track power, and I don't see any reason that the the 808 won't work.
From the 808 #16 manual...
This camera supports recording videos while charging, which enables you to record long videos by using an external power source.
The camera will work with any standard USB DC 5V output power source, such as USB car charger, USB wall charger, external power pack with USB output or USB computer port.
Sounds like you just use the charging cord and 5VDC from a regulated source. The many eBay buck converters would work fine.
