I am looking for an over track, pedestrian, bridge, and do like the looks of this one, however it is 1:35 scale rather than 1:48 scale.

Is anyone here familiar with this pedestrian bridge, and if so; Would this scale just be too large for a typical O Gauge layout?

Lionel and Plasticville both make o gauge pedestrian bridges.

The plasticville one is almost impossible to find and goes very quickly on the bay whenever its listed.  The Lionel and MTH ones are also starting to become scarce.  I'm also curious if this product is a good alternative. I need to kitbash a few for some subway platforms.

I like the Lionel version, but I would need to modify it.
I need to remove one star on one side, and the other star on the other side.
I would also need to remove 3 to 4" from the center walkway.
How hard are these to modify?
O have a Dremel tool for cutting.
Are these made of styrene, meaning, can they be glued with airplane glue?
1. I would need to patch railings into the landing openings where the stars are removed.
2. I would need to reattach the upper walkway, where I remove the the 3 to 4".

If you have to buy from e-bay because you can't get it anywhere else, at any price, then the seller is sitting on a gold mine.  That's how supply-and-demand works unfortunately.

Several posters have already said that these bridges are getting hard to find.  Scarce means expensive, regardless of the seller's intentions.

(I will agree however that there are far too many sellers on e-bay who are not serious about selling the more common things -- and their prices prove it.  These people would rather use e-bay to display their collection, and hold on to it for years if necessary, before selling any part of it at a fair price.  If they were true sellers they would know that the money's to be made by moving goods, not by holding on to them.)

I went ahead and bought that Lionel one on eBay.
Now I will go about the mods to be made.

Again, as asked above, how difficult are these to work with, as far as making modifications?
Cutting, gluing, etc...............
