Ace,


In that design, what diameter curves are they?  I like the idea of the tunnel before it bridges across the space.

Well I could, but... only through one of the wallw.  Two are the foundation, one is the laundry room which is also the wall with the open doorway, and the other wall there are closets (I will eventually rip out) leading into the other part of the basement.

Mike, these are all great designs and suggestions. Might I pose one question.

What types of locomotives are you going to be running ? What era.? Big scale steam locomotives and or modern diesels require big curves, 072 plus, postwar and smaller locos require smaller curves. Imo engines look better on bigger curves.

Grade on underpass track is 3.3%, other tracks are level.

The two main ovals have O60 and O72 curves, inner and outer. The attached SCARM files will show all the track pieces for this and the previously shown version.
