I have a Premier Blue Comet with 2 70' Madison cars. I have been having a hard time trying to find the 2 matching Premier cars that include the Observation Car.
I often see the 2 and 4 car Lionel Sets and wonder how close in color they are? and in size as well?
Has anyone mixed these, and the Daylight sets?

I haven't tried these, but I did try to add some Williams version of the Lionel 50th anniversary Union Pacific cars to my original Lionel set to find the Williams color is quite a long distance from the Lionel which also doesn't match the actual UP Armour Yellow color chip either neither does Williams.
So one can conclude that colors involve quite a bit of free lancing.
