Modeling the McGraw Edison MEPX 100 depressed center flatcar
This model has an overall length of 23 inches over coupler faces. It uses MTH 3-axle Buckeye style trucks and 2-axle roller bearing style trucks. The load platform length is 25 scale feet (6-1/4 inches).
The truck bolsters are articulated to allow operation on small radius curves.

MEPX 100
This depressed center flat car is owned by Pennsylvania Transformer Technology. It was originally built for McGraw Edison, which was later renamed Cooper Power Systems.
