I have four modern Lionel 027 remote control switches, and they have served me well for over 10 years. I just recently put them on to a new train table I am building, and I have it set up so I can back trains into sidings. The problem is, I can't back a single train into a siding without a wheel coming off. There have been a few times where I have had success, but then my engine would lose power when it reaches the switch. I should note that I prefer fixing things by any means necessary, and am on an extremely tight budget which means buying better switches is out of the question. Any suggestions?
