Looking to repaint a spare Madison combo shell to match my "Legends of Lionel" series of cars. I think it is slightly off of original post-war and pre-war madison cars and the Chinese built cars seam to be slightly different again. Does anybody happen to know an exact match and where could one obtain a small bottle of this paint?
I cannot attest that this will be an exact match to your Legends Madison as I do not own any of that series; however I do have some of the more recent Chinese made Madisons and the Collector Colors paint#2624 "Irvington Red" is an exact match IMO. The Collector Colors are available through Hennings Trains, a forum sponsor. Not expensive for a small tin so might be worth a try. Harry Henning was extremely helpful and he might be able to advise you on compatability or suggest a different color. Good luck.
