Per Mark's suggestion, attached are photos of the progress so far.
The components necessary are: (1) Hudson tender shell and (1) K5 pacific shell for each T-1,
The photos show the K5 that shattered, note the metal splotches on the outside of the tender (and inside). They did not show before sanding and must have been a bad casting. Also shows some of the parts after cutting.
You can see the one tender that has been cut and epoxied together. Next step is more sanding, then priming and a paint job. After that a bottom plate will be cut and drilled.
Next week at York, I will be looking for another K5 shell and 6 wheel tender trucks. After that a set of decals for the tender/engine.
