I have a Premier NYC MOHAWK  20-3372-1.

The engine sounds have a very loud generator sound that is very loud compared with the chuff sound-- much louder in comparison than any of my other MTH PS2 steam engines. I find it annoying. Is this normal? Did MTH issue a new sound set with a more "normal" relationship between chuff volume and generator noise?

This engine has a quillable whistle. Where do I find instructions on how to operate the quilling feature?

Your best bet would be to call MTH tech support (410-381-2580) and ask a tech.

This engine has a quillable whistle. Where do I find instructions on how to operate the quilling feature?

It's in The DCS O Gauge Companion 2nd Edition on page 212.

This and a whole lot more is all in "The DCS O Gauge Companion 2nd Edition", now available for purchase as an eBook or a printed book from MTH's web store site! Click on the link below to go to MTH's web page for the book!
