Then MTH came out with DCS..P2…so I left my DCC HO in the boxes, and made the jump.

While in HO I made a half hearted attempt to catalogue my collection…

I knew with O that keeping a record was the only way to maintain sone control-and avoid buying duplicate Road Numbers…

So, I got this 200 page notebook..it has served me well for nearly 20 years…but some of my sections are out of pages🙃

And, due to limited MTH supply at my LHS RESELLER, and because I liked the way the cars looked, I have bought Atlas, Lionel and K-Line…

So, I’m adding my roster to the Cloud..

A task I should have started years ago…if only to avoid the disdainful looks and sighs from sellers at train shows😁…

Oddly, only a few train show sellers showed interest in my little book..most just want me to buy without knowing if I need it to fulfill my quest to own one of everything MTH made.
And I know, the only way to get one of everything is for some of you fine folks to start donating to me. 🤣

Beats letting your significant other selling them for what you told them you paid😃

O well, the bonus is, my significant other won’t be noticing that I’m leaving the house with that notebook-which is a dead give away that I’m going to a train store or show🚂

Nice note book but I have found by creating a spread sheet and keeping it on my phone much easier and can  categorizeI get it makes for an easier search to prevent what have done to many times and that is buy something I already have .

My wonderful wife offered to create a spread sheet for me…

but that date/time stamp would have not been my ally in train acquisition 😁
