More Traction from Traction Tires

I am looking for tips on how to generate more traction from a engine's tires which are intact but have gotten slippery. Yes, my track probably needs cleaning and the tires have no doubt picked up amounts of residue. Am hoping to correct the tires surface rather than having to install new tires. Experience and ideas appreciated.

You could try alcohol. Most petroleum solvents will attack the rubber. Then remove the tires and flip them over.

If the rubber becomes impregnated with grease or oil they will not grip. Clean them with a degreaser.
