I am new to this Form, but I need help finding replacements for my 027 Walkabout throttles that go with my transformer. They have finally failed after 18 years of use. But I can't seem to find a replacement and emails to MRC have not gotten a resposnse. Any help would be appreciated.

Try looking on auction sites...they appear regularly. MRC was sold to a hobby distributor last year and from what I can tell, the reorganization, strategy and product offering is in flux.
Not what you're looking for, but some other options might be:
Add an MTH TIU or a Lionel Powermaster and control your trains with a remote (or, with the addition of wifi, with an app).
This might be the time to buy a new transformer. You could still use the MRC for its nice fixed voltage options.
Over time I have purchased several from eBay merchants. They come up regularly, often NOS (new old stock from the late 90s when these things were in production). There are currently two being offered. Several have been sold since early October, varying in price from $7.79 to something less than $45.00.
IIRC Trainz (a Forum sponsor) has had one on occasion.
Boy, it's been a long time, but back in circa 1995 I purchased my first new powerhouse transformer, the Dual MRC with remotes. I had major issues with Lionel turnouts and running my first PS1 MTH engine. After trying everything, I traded it in at my LHS for my first Z4000 and that solved everything. The MRC wasn't broke -- it just wasn't 100% compatible. I mention this only because, as mentioned above, it might be time for a new transformer for you. TIU and Powerhouse/Wifi are a great solution. If you're not running digital you probably don't need to be as cautious.
I have 2 remotes for the MRC transformer. One hasn’t even been used the other I upgraded with better buttons...you can have them for 100.00 and you get the transformer too.
The MRC unit you have has a chopped sine wave in the power. This works well for post war Lionel and others without sound systems. This does not work for sound systems etc. That's why manufacturers went to pure sine wave power systems.
Thank You to eveyone who replyed to Post.
I am going to take taycotrains up on his offer.
