The new MTH Premier Angus is awesome, BUT they did cheap out on a few features that we need to address. Most of these differences are covered in my latest video. Check it out here:

Great review, Chris. It's good to see MTH is still producing neat and unique models.
I am a Erie RR fan, and have the 2011 Angus and similar era Triplex. I have used them in a DCS lashup, though the Angus is a bit slower, with Triplex leading, just have to watch that coupler tension. Great whistle on both PS3 versions, and that whistle steam on the later one is pretty cool.
FWIW: M.F. Kotowski painted a really nice painting of the Angus at twilight. Colors bring it to life.
