"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.

Post your non-O scale stuff here!

Well.... you'd think I'd learn by now!

I saw a MTH Hudson and thought that a running sample meant it would be more complete. It would have a board set and maybe a smoke unit.

Nope.

It was a prototype and doesn't have many things that must have been added later on. Like extra power pick-up points and so on.

At least I know I can grab some parts from MTH still. Many weren't available but I may have enough now to move forward at least.

When I'm done, I could have bought a RTR engine for less. What fun would that be?

Will definately be more more fun Joe!  LOL

Some years ago I bought the Great Trains 1:29 model from a fella in AZ I think it was. He was a friend of Chas Ro and had bought this one direct from him. It was a 'display' unit and had no electronics either.  My thinking if I am ever in a position to operate it I will add PS3 and a smoke unit. She's fine now at home on my mantle and garners a lot of positive comments as you can imagine.  Please post some pics and a video when you have her trackworthy!
