Hi Everyone...Im a newby to the hobby & wanted to buy my first MTH 10-1062-1 263E Engine & Tender in Tinplate. My question is with all the talk of MTH & parts not to mention something about the boards I wanted to know what to look out for & if it is worth the $575 price they are asking- Just got a nice set of the 4 cars that came with the set & wanted some input...Thanks-Sal

I wouldn't buy that model of the 263e Blue Comet for anywhere near that price if at all. That is a Proto 1 version of the locomotive. The last run of these were Protosound 3. Yes, Proto 3 would be worth that price; I bought one and love it.
