The other day, my remote gave a Maintenance Required message for my ATSF PA1.  Kind of surprised me that it had 1000 scale miles on the ODO, but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised since I like it and it’s a passenger loco that is run at higher speeds.  I checked my maintenance file to make sure I hadn’t already lubed it and got to wondering what other locos are in the 1000 club.

I have 43 DCS locos (including 2 Williams that were upgraded to PS3).  Eleven of them have over 1000 scale miles.  So here they are.  Honored members of the MTH 1000 Club

ATSF PA1 #68 - I got this 3 years ago and as I said it gets run a lot.

68

Reading F7 #283 - Another passenger loco.  Ran it a lot when I first got it, but not so much lately.

283

LVRR GP38 #324 - I like LV colors so they get a lot of run time.

324

PRR 2-8-8-2 #376 - My first DCS loco and charter member of the club.  This one has over 2000 scale miles on the ODO.

376

LVRR C628 #629 - Did I mention that I like LV paint schemes?

629

Reading 4-8-4 #2123 - A Railking model patterned after an ATSF FEF.  In iron horse rambles paint.

2123

D&H RS3 4085 - I knew nothing about the D&H before I saw this in the 2011V1 catalog.  Had to have the lightning stripe.  Now I’m a big time D&H fan.

4085

PRR K4S #5475 - Had to have a K4S too.

5475

C&O AS616 #5562

5562

PRR PA1 #5752 - Another charter member of the club with over 2000 miles.

5752

CBQ Zephyr #9900 - One of my favorites.
