Was hoping for my 1st triple headed engine running, with an Mth SD70, the new Rail king Ge evo, and

a F40 ph,  mth  20-2904.  Pulled the lid, and noticed the 2 buttons, DCS, Polarity, and  the other 2 rl - 3 rl

Now both of the other, engines are running in a l--- up, just fine,  but  I can not get the TIU to read this Alaska 20-2904,

and It will come on just fine, on a conventional track. ( with PW = ZW)   Whats up, do I need to reverse the wires on the TIU, which would not make sense, running 3 rail

thanks

ok, I'm back.  1 piece of track replaced, and fuse replaced.

This is a forum engine, that has been ran; cause it will smoke in conventional.   However,  1 small light on the back, (upper left hand corner), and

same style light in the front comes on, and immediately, goes off.  Do I need to

run, in conventional to charge anything up.  I placed it on my 2nd Tiu, track, and remote

comes up again NO DCS, engine to add.

perplexed!!!  I really need on my TIU tracks and not the conventional tracks due to passenger car sizes.          THANKS

The red and green markers will flash at startup on some engines.  Does this engine run in conventional?  Have you tried a recover engine?  On your test track with no other engines on, did you try a read?

Are the wheels and pickups clean?

After that it needs to be tested by a tech, the Power Supply board can have some damage and it is killing the DCS Signal.  That is repairable.  G
