Looking at buying one of these used. The manual states it can run on O-54, yet the box says O-72. I only have O-54 curves on my layout so this is a deal breaker for me. It's also worth noting that the 20-3023-1 (PS1) Shay can run on O-42, yet appears to be the same tooling. Does anyone know the actual minimum curve for this engine?

I saw that too, but if you click support and then click on the manual, the first page of it states it can run on O-54.
Wow. I see now. Yes, I have 054 curves also. It's a great looking Shay. Hopefully someone has one and will respond.
