Your right, I should of. For Lionel also. LOL
MTH hasn't done a B&O Hudson since I had hair!
I'm hoping for one this year, especially if the cardiologist gives me thumbs up for the trip!

Since the B&O did not have any "Hudsons", what are you referring to?
I would hope that we might see a new subway set, ie a BMT D Type Triplex train. You if enough indicate interest , MTH might produce it.

new tooling hmmm i'll take an MK5000C please
Mr Water, above:
"Since the B&O did not have any "Hudsons", what are you referring to?"
In fact, the B&O had four 4-6-4's, classes V1 - V4. Largely experimental, I do believe. Don't know if they called them "Hudsons" or not; not the point.
Now, I can't say that MTH ever offered one...actually I can, of course, they didn't.
Maybe the other poster was referring to a RK fantasy piece. Which is another planet entirely.
What I'm expecting:
Reissued models with PS3 calling them "all new".
What I'm hoping for:
CSX "-3" rebuilds (SD40-3, GP40-3, GP38-3)
Correct WM GP7/9 with the chop nose
High hood GP30's
Correct B&O steam
Anything Penn Central
Well I hope there's also:
Premier PRR I1sa Decapod (hopefully they can change the details for the Post-War version)
Premier Western Maryland GP30's #'s 501 & 502:
CF7, maybe? Wishful thinking.
MTH has just released their 2017 RTR Catalog today, and I saw the cover of the 2017 Volume 2 catalog on the back cover of it.
"Reissues"? Are you allowed to use language like that on this forum?
AGHRMatt posted:CF7, maybe? Wishful thinking.
I have always been surprised no Oguage manufacturer made a CF7. A lot of different Railroads ended up owning them once the Santa Fe sold their fleet. With all the different road names they could do multiple runs.
I'm also in the not too enthused to buy right now mode - concentrating on the layout rebuild - but the Canadian Pacific Holiday train caught my eye.
Still annoyed that MTH still hasn't issued it's 2015 O gauge tinplate club car and from what I was told, MTH does not expect to ship 2015 AND 2016 O gauge tinplate club cars until Oct 2017. I'm tired of the delays and likely going back to the basic $25 membership.
I am surprised no one has made the GP40-2 either and many railroads had that model as well!

That Candian Pacific Holiday Train caught my eyes too, after I looked it up on youtube. Pretty cool...

The RTR Catalog was posted yesterday. There is another thread going about it.

That should not be hard. MTH made this unit in the Washington Redskins paint scheme as it was painted from 1995-1999.

Shucks Steve, we just filled over 600 packages of goodies for the troops and I was trusted to make sure each one got a box of Girl Scout cookies placed inside it. These are the Lemon cookies our assortment of cases had. (I purchased some for myself a few weeks back, Delicious!
As to the catalog, I had hoped for some more signals. Think MTH will make a scale Christmas train??
More Railking ES44s. MTH made only 2 NS units that had one is a set and the other is an individual item and I bought the individual unit last week.
Really hoping to see the PRR I-1 Decapod with the Long AND Short tender!
These are both long over due to be released with Proto 3!
The PS-2-CD, Center Discharge, high-sided, 4427 Cu Ft 3-bay covered hoppers could be produced in the Denver & Rio Grande Western 1967 scheme and the improved 1968 scheme, SL-SF FRISCO schemes from 1966 to 1971, The Louis-Dreyfuss scheme, and CARBONUNDRUM. Authentic road numbers and graphics for the PS-2-CD 3-bay covered hopper.

At the risk of being booed off this forum, I'm going to stick my neck out and say I am hoping for a few re-issues. Fact is my O scale collection is relatively immature, so reissues work for me since I missed so much from the first time around.
I am partial to RK Imperial steam (and Pennsy), so my hope for re-issues are in that line (all PS3 of course):
I can also dream for some reissues with some slight tooling updates:
Finally, if MTH were to invest in tooling for just one more steamer in the RK line it would have to be the NYC Niagara! If they were to do that re-issues of the RK Dryfus and ESE Hudsons with the PT tender would have to follow. Count me in for those too.
There's the top of my dream list. I think all are plausible, at least that's what I keep telling myself...

Ok, if that's the release, I'm in on that unit. Yes, it's a remake of a that type of unit, but the color isn't a remake. It's actually made from the real unit and that paint scheme has not been done yet in black until now. I already have the AC44C6M #4000. This version I probably prefer the Tuscan Red mane more then the blue unless I caught the blue version in real life first. Only thing MTH should do though, they should come out with 4002, 4003, 4004 & 4005 so there's all version to choose from, but at least it's coming out. I've seen the 4000 twice so far in real life. So I have to have one of the brothers to him. I know the 4001 came out as well, but I want a version that's black. Only other engine if they made for modern was the GEVO Tier 4 ET44AH or ET44AC. CSX has a ET44AH.
What are you doing in Nitro Scott??? Throw a rock across the river there and you'll hit my daughters house. Nitro does have a hobby shop......
In less than 2 weeks we will know.

So she lives in St. Albans? I was stopping by Nitro Hobby and leaving a N&W J excursion poster with them. I also purchased some things for the Pirates of the Caribbean layout while I was in there.
Scott Smith
I'm hoping for CNR or GTW diesel. I don't think I can afford anymore steam.
Scott,
Yep....St Albans near the CSX mainline. She almost bought a house that sat up against the tracks with a 2nd story porch that I claimed......but it fell through. thx

Pretty much the reason I did not renew my membership last year. I paid the money and have been out $90 since 2015. I could have used it to buy other things. Would love to know the reason for this as I thought MTH owns the factory where these are built??
