MTH 263E PS3 sounds, won't move | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Hello,

I have an MTH 263E with PS3. Wasn't getting any response at all earlier this week, conventional and DCS mode. After making sure the drawbar connection was very secure, for a fleeting moment, everything worked...DCS response, sounds, lights and it ran using the remote. Suddenly it stopped on a turn so I figured the drawbar connection loosened again. Applied a good amount of pressure once again on the drawbar and now it just gives me sound and no movement. Any suggestions? I performed a factory reset.

You may have a damaged drawbar. Replace it and it should work fine.

Look at where the tether connects into the locomotive. That connector can also come loose.
