Will the station sounds when the engine stops...work with a regular ZW or 1033 transformer? the directions say you need a transformer with a bell and direction buttons. Thanks

To operate the station stops you need a new transformer that has bell and whistle buttons. It will not work with an older transformer. I use a z1000 or a MRC 270 transformer. Of course a z4000 will work too
Just purchase a Lionel Whistle Bell Controller. You will find them on the Bay for about $10.
You can add one of these to your ZW

They have two different ones on ebay..
