I was in the MTH website and was looking at the 30-5107-1 Pittsburgh Brill Semi-Convertible Trolley. It must have been whoever did the prototype for the catalog must have got photos from the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum in Washington Pa as the car in the catalog was the same paint scheme and number as PRT 5326 and the production model had a different paint scheme and number than the catalog illustration. Does anyone know if MTH planed a Brill in PRT orange?
As you know that Arden car signed Route 52 is a Philadelphia car, not a Pittsburgh car. If MTH used the Arden car as a prototype for a Pittsburgh car they missed the boat. Wonder what Route and stops it calls out.
Yes 5326 was retired by PTC August 1957 and someone messed up but they did correct it with the production model. I wish MTH would have released some with the Philly paint scheme and I would have added the PRT decals myself. The car does have the Pittsburgh stops.
